Dear Leaders:
The first week of the program is behind us. By now you should be thinking like a Leader, focused on the highest priority activities and letting go of anything that might hold you back from being all that you can be. Use these Leader’s Lights as you review your homework assignments and the contents of the sessions. They contain key learning points. When you master these, you are well on your way to excellence! Dear Leaders:
If you’ve made it this far, it means that you are a true winner willing to invest in your success. Now it’s time to be sure that you are bringing prospects’ homes to market in the right way. A home that will not sell is not a listing, it is a liability! If you are carrying some “liabilities,” use what was learned this week to reposition the properties so that they’ll sell! Expired listings ruin your reputation, and you’ll rarely, if ever, get a referral from a seller whose listing expired. Beat last week’s stats!

Hello Gang!
Last week was another great week of Listing and Selling. Keep putting your marketing presentations together, and prospecting. Lenore & Linda did a great job again, leading the way for the second week with a 1.8 average. Leo and the “Transactions Unlimited” team trailed by the slightest of margins.

The rest of the story………………..
…………….Paul Harvey, for many years, had a radio show that addresses the rest of the story! In the housing market in the Metropolitan Detroit area, there IS another side of the story! Right now, if you are a buyer, there are opportunities that you simply cannot believe, and people seem to have finally realized that now may really be the time to buy the “deal of the century” in real estate. Brokers (I don’t even care if you use my name) have spent a great deal of time and money to educate our agents on how to deal with the current market; how to work with it, how to help buyers and sellers accomplish their goals and how to keep the real estate economy headed into the right direction. Contrary to what we hear, Stuart Elsea, President of John Adams Mortgage, says that FHA loans make the mortgage process for buyers so much quicker and easier. In order to prove that there are people buying and selling homes in the Metropolitan area, we have tried a unique experiment. We have brought in Mark Leader, a national trainer, to work with our agents every Thursday to help them become more effective (feel free to visit our classes to see first hand the excitement and results that are being generated) and to teach them how to work smarter in this ultra-challenging market. Is it working? The average agent in our experiment is doing 2.1 pieces of business each week which is far above the national average of .6 units. So far this year, there have been 9,371 home sales in our area. As I travel throughout the offices in my company, I am feeling a buzz of activity that hasn’t been there for some time….WE ARE BUSY! We are receiving calls from investors in other states interested in purchasing a portfolio of homes in our area. Shouldn’t this be something that we should share with our Michigan audience? This strikes me as being a good indicator for our Michigan economy…Once again, let’s talk about……..the rest of the story!

Dear Leaders:
There are just two more sessions till graduation. The highest production in many programs happens between weeks 7-9. Why? Because most of the pieces of the success puzzle are already in place. You know what to do to separate productivity from activity, schedule an appointment when you want one and to handle objections like a pro. Practice makes perfect. We remember what we do most and forget what is neglected. If you are happy with your production to date, I am happy, too. If you need to do more, do it. Finish strong! Dear Leaders:
If you’re following what we are learning, you will have scheduled 6 marketing presentation appointments. Are you on track for your goals? If so, take time to celebrate your successes. If not, review the Leader’s Cycle (session 1) and find out which step is being missed/weak. Are you allowing negative thinking and doubts to hold you back? Ask, believe and receive! Let’s make this a spectacular week. If everyone focuses on that goal, we’ll all benefit. Click here to download Leader’s Light Session 3 PDF
